I'm still alive (woOah! Big Bang style...sorry Kpop nerd moment!)! I have been busy and even have new drawings to upload as well! I have them on my facebook and stuff, but haven't scanned them yet, but hope to do so soon! I haven't been drawing as much as I'd like. It's actually a bit painful for me to draw or write by hand now. I hope it's nothing serious, I'm going to get a brace soon and see if it helps! I have a bunch of stuff to complete! I started calligraphy again, which I haven't done in years! I am hoping to complete some new watercolor and marker work soon as well! I am also getting a new camera so I begin uploading myself drawing and painting for ithers to see, because it is is something I simply love watching! I hope all of you are well! ...and holy crap, I used a lot of exclamation points...

I have been having an internal battle within myself about my career prospects as an artist and how I feel about commissioned portraits. It's a loooong explanation so I am blogging now! I plan to frequently update it with stuff about my personal and creative life! I hope to see some of you....who actually pay attention to me! there! Godnight!

p.s. I am working on a couple things, I have three WIPS. I have a commissioned portrait, a drawing of Emma Stone (which was started forever ago) and a portrait of Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper (my nerd bf). So there! I'll keep everyone posted on any new projects!

Summer for me equals lots of drawing,reading, & endulging in my guilty pleasure-asian dramas 49 Days ends this week so I plan to work on some stuff. I hope to keep practicing with markers and ink.Im looking for line art ideas, anyone have any???  Comment me w/ some ideas & I'll mention you! I may do a feature soon as well! Keep checking in!

I have been quite the artist lately, finishing many drawings and even a couple paintings this week! I feel so accomplished. School begins agin in January, I am dreading this semester, I am taking 2 more classes than usual! :S ...I hope everyone is well and good luck in the coming year. I am going to spend the rest of my break drawing random pictures and watching boxsets of my favorite Asian Dramas...esp You're Beautiful...I'm kinda creepily into JKS

So! I have noticed a severe lack of traffic on my site-which I don't mind, I'm barely on anymore because of school. I also noticed a trend within my blogs. It seems I only write when I have news or am pissed off or sad. This melancholy progression is on hiatus as of right now.

So...

     My life has been decent as of late! I am doing very well in school, in fact so well I can hardly help but boast my accomplishments. As I am usually a very modest person, I must be happy about it lol. I haven't drawn much lately. The last thing I drew was Alice in Wonderland for a contest submission and as an early birthday gift for by dear friend Harmony, who, ever since we were like sophomores in high school has argued that Alice is the best Disney Princess, (over Ariel even, I know!) even though she's not a princess, is she? Oh well, I just completed my newest composition and although I took a breather from drawing, is one of my best. It's confusing. I am proud that I'm almost 1/2 way to getting my Associates in Fine Arts. After that it's helloooo ASU, or any other decently pricedart  school willing to take me. I think my portfolio is strong enough to get into the fine arts program there. I am minoring in Art History so I should at least get in with that.
     I love Art his. it's actually the highlight of my day. I didnt even sell back my $180 a.h. book because I read it again and still love it. It's fascinating. I am going into my 3rd A.H. course and I finally...FINALLY get to do an in depth study on the renaissance! I loved middle eastern art and especially Gothic art but this is what I love. Renaissance and Rococo art are my favorite to study. Google rococo, it's incredible. We also get to learn about some more contemporary artists, I hope we study Joan Miro, he's amazing. And the Dada movement is in the course too!! Wow...I really took that and ran with it....am I a freak or what?
     Umm...what else...my nephew! Trey is almost 1 year old! Isn't that unbelievable! It's crazy, it feeling like only weeks ago that we were rocking him to sleep. Now he chases Willa around the house, steals food off of plates, yells at my mom and calls me Bobba...I know, thats not my name. Haha. He's an amazing little boy and I cannot wait till we can play more when he gets bigger.
    As of right this instant I am contemplating what to draw for someone. In about 3 weeks its the birthday of a little penpal of mine and I want to draw her something amazing! I can't ask cause it must be a surprise, what to do???  Well...I may have something so I'm going to try it out, maybe some watercolor? Color is def. in...


So in the next few weeks (SUMMER VACATION!!!) Expect some more color and paintings from me. I am planning something big for a friend so check it out later!
